Why we built it this way.

Over 20+ years teaching English speakers, Manu watched the same thing happen again and again: brilliant students would buy app after app, course after course, and still feel lost. Not because they weren’t working hard — but because no one had ever shown them where they were going.

Most learning out there is fragments. A grammar lesson here, a vocabulary list there, a tip from a YouTube video. Pieces that never quite connect. You finish a course and ask yourself: “okay… now what?”

Where do I start if I’m a complete beginner?
Right at Phase 1 — Foundation. You’ll start with pronunciation and your very first words, and the path will guide you all the way through. No prior knowledge needed.
What if I already speak some Italian?
You can jump in at the phase that matches where you are. Many members start at Progression or Evolution and use the earlier phases as a refresher whenever they need it. Nothing is locked — you have full access from day one.
Do I have to follow the phases in order?
The path is designed to build naturally, so each phase prepares you for the next. But you’re always free to skip ahead, revisit earlier material, or jump into a companion course whenever it serves you.
How long does it take to complete the path?
That’s entirely up to you. Some members move through quickly, others take their time and savour every phase. There’s no clock and no deadline — you progress at your pace, and the path stays with you for as long as you’re a member.
Is everything really included in one membership?
Yes. One membership unlocks every phase, every course, every companion program (pronunciation, comprehension, immersion), the Piazza Italia community, and direct access to Manu and the team. No upsells. No premium tiers.
How is this different from an app or a regular course?
